Emiley is as talented as she is kind. She has a wonderful eye and ability to capture the most incredible moments. I had seen her work before and after my engagement when we’d been thinking about photographers, she was the first and only person that came to mind. I’d highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Both my partner and I are thrilled with the photos and felt so comfortable with her behind the lens!

My biggest fear in hiring a photographer was that we had never met. In fact, we weren’t even in the same state! I contacted Emiley because she came highly recommended; it felt funny telling people that we were flying our photographer in from Florida, but it was so fun! I loved getting to meet her and her assistant the day-of and felt immediately at ease. They were kind, professional, and captured all the special moments of the day.

I’ve already recommended Emiley to my best friends with an engagement on the horizon! I’ve shared with them how easy it was to be photographed because nothing felt posed/staged. Emiley would simply talk to us and give minimal direction. Honestly, I didn’t even notice her or her sweet assistant during the ceremony/reception. Some of my favorite photos were the details they captured (i.e. shoes tossed on the floor from dancing, cups of coffee, half-eaten pieces of cake). The big moments and the little moments were captured, and I can look at them forever!

Her work made us feel so beautiful. We saw our love for one another in the moments she was able to capture. It was like everything we felt and saw with our own eyes that day has a physical representation now that we can look at always.

From the moment we booked our date with Emiley, the process was seamless and as professional as can be, but with an added element of warmth and genuine interest in our comfort and what we wanted. Our wedding was very non traditional, and we were very clear that we wanted real authentic captures –– Emiley understood that and ran with it. She was discreet throughout our intimate ceremony and yet still managed to capture the most raw, up close moments. During our portraits, she helped us feel comfortable and free to be ourselves in front of the lens by just being her genuine herself. She was complimentary, kind, and never forceful.

While the whole day was magical, we loved the in between. The moments right after the ceremony, where we walked around in the grass, held hands, kissed, cried, and really allowed it all to sink in. We just felt like she was a friend celebrating with us, who also happened to be a wildly talented photographer. It was really neat.

Emiley did an amazing job for our engagement and wedding! She’s got a calming way about her where you can just be yourself with your significant other and really make the photo shoot such a fun and intimate experience.
